Our Idaho Story

We grew up in Idaho and fell in love with home.  Nature is a wonderment and very peaceful.  The first residents found everything needed to survive after moving here with little more than a rifle and some salt.

The very first fur trapper rendezvous was held at the confluence of the Cub River and Cove Creek in what is now called northern Cache Valley.  Cache Valley was originally referred to as Willow Valley by the trappers.  Fort Hall was the first structure in southeast Idaho, built by the trappers to trade goods with the Indians and free trappers.

Later, southeast Idaho was settled by the Mormons moving north from the Great Salt Lake.  Many of these early Mormons were Danish and English immigrants.  This is where our history begins in southeast Idaho.

The Pictures to the left are the brewery in down town Virginia City, Montana, and the one below is the Opera House in up town.

A fine buck deer from Idaho and a picture of how I like to spend winters accompanied by hard working, gentle horses.

The wonders and enjoyments of the Idaho Rocky Mountains never quit amazing my family or myself.  An adventure is an old mountain and it's inhabitants.
